Honda SP125 available in seven colours and three variants in India

Honda recently launched the SP125 commuter in a new Sports Edition and is offering the motorcycle in seven colour options.

Honda updated the SP125 commuter to comply with OBD-2 norms half a year ago and recently launched the motorcycle in a Sports Edition trim. Now, the Honda SP125 is available in a choice of three variants and seven colour options.

The recent addition to the colour palette is the Decent Blue Metallic and Heavy Grey Metallic on the Sports Edition. These add a bit of flair with swanky graphics and colour matched rim-tape. On the other hand, the Drum and Disc variants are offered in Black, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue and Matte Marvel Blue Metallic.

All paint options, except Matte Axis Grey Metallic, are offered with identical graphics and styling elements such as a body-coloured front fender, headlight cowl, and pillion grabrails. That said, the styling cues consist of a single-pod headlight, aggressive design for the bodywork, and bold colours. It also comes with an LED headlight, a fully-digital instrument cluster, an engine start/stop switch, and a combined braking system too. Other than the conventional data, the console also shows real-time fuel economy, average fuel economy, distance-to-empty meter, eco indicator, and gear position indicator.

Powering the motorcycle is a 123.94cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churns out 10.7bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 10.9Nm at 6,000rpm. However, the 2023 model gets an onboard diagnostics system that tracks emissions in real time and notifies the rider in case of a fault.
